Ramsey Elementary Cited For Innovation, Creativity

Ramsey Elementary is one of seven schools in Kootenai County to receive the 1999 A+ Excellence in Education award from the Idaho Education Association.

The state teachers’ union created the award to recognize schools that use innovative and creative strategies to move ahead in education reform. Criteria include: a safe, orderly environment; ongoing staff development; parent and community involvement; and innovative staff participation.
