Ten Members Appointed To Child Care Commission

The Coeur d’Alene City Council has appointed 10 of 11 members who will make up the Child Care Commission.

The board will review ordinances and assist Mayor Steve Judy in establishing and determining recipients of the Excellence in Child Care Awards.

Commission members will also be asked to attend a majority of the regularly scheduled monthly meetings, which will be open to the public.

The commissioners are Barb Baughman, Iris Siegler, Kim Torgerson, Alice Anderson, David Mayo, Darryl Cutler, Lee Gustafson, Nikki Charlton, Kristina Woodman and Dolly Deane DuBois.

The commission still needs one representative from the Panhandle Health District. Anyone interested can call 769-2204.
