Among other matters, the board will hear a report from Spokane city officials about Growth Management Act issues.

City Council discusses issues on the advance agenda, and votes on the consent agenda.

City Council meeting

The council will consider city membership in the Spokane Aquifer Joint Board and the Spokane Area Wellhead Program Implementation Plan. Hearings will be held on the 2000 city budget.

Workshop on initial development regulations for the new comprehensive plan; review of Spokane Club application to amend the Shoreline Master Program; Greenstone application to amend the general land-use plan for the Calkins Annexation; application by Daryl and Karen Stokes to amend the land-use map for the North Hill Neighborhood Specific Plan.

Before lunch, the commission will continue work on the county’s comprehensive land-use plan. After lunch, the commission will decide whether to recommend a new policy for “inherently dangerous mammals and reptiles” that are kept as pets.
