John and Margerie McKay will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday with an open house at Coeur d’Alene Bible Church.

The McKays lived in the Inland Northwest 30 years before moving to British Columbia in 1983.

Hosts for the event will be their daughters, Debby Dahlke and Wendy Devenere, both of Coeur d’Alene, and Patty Stockwell of Mill Creek, Wash.

The McKays were married Sept. 18, 1949, in Zanesville, Ohio. They have six grandchildren.
