“Mystery, Alaska” is that rare creation: a hockey film that’s both funny (a requirement of the genre) and filled with real emotion (purely a concern of screenwriter David E. Kelley). A twist on the “Rocky” theme, it involves what happens when players of “pond hockey” take on the New York Rangers. And it boasts a surprise or two.
