Coeur D’Alene Cited For ‘98 Fire Safety

The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department has won a Life Safety Achievement Award for 1998 from a national organization.

The Residential Fire Safety Institute honored the fire department with the award, which recognizes departments that had zero deaths in structure fires the previous year.

More than 900 awards were issued nationally in 1998.

The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department was the only department in Idaho to receive the award.
