Election Letter Deadline
Still hankering to write a letter to the editor about the Nov. 2 election? Time’s almost up.
For an election letter to be considered for publication, it must be in our hands by Thursday noon.
To increase the odds your letter will be chosen from the many received during the last-minute rush, here are three things you can do: 1, Keep it less than 250 words; 2, Make your comments informative and direct them to an issue that has not yet received ample discussion on this page; and 3, follow instructions in the “Keep in touch” box on this page but be aware that e-mail is fastest.
If your letter does not appear, please be aware that we are buried with far more letters than we can print - particularly, concerning Initiative 695. We’re doing our best to choose a representative sampling from all points of view received.
Thanks for your participation.
