Little, Round Reese’S Popular With Panel

Rick Bonino Food Editor

The latest trend in candy bars appears to be balls. Tiny, round versions of everything from Butterfinger to Almond Joy have started showing up in stores.

The Reese’s Bites we served to The Spokesman-Review’s reader food panel were generally well-received (although the panel’s proven fondess for anything chocolate must be taken into account).

And at an estimated 162 bites per package, they’d certainly be cheap treats to hand out for Halloween - one at a time, that is.

Comments: “Normally, I’m not a fan of peanuts and chocolate together, but these were good. Not an overpowering peanut butter or chocolate taste, but a pleasant equilibrium.” - Mike Connelly

“How could you possibly stop at one with these?” - Ella Gordon-Stowe
