Two Churches Offering Bible School

Vacation Bible school season is wrapping up as summer starts winding down. Two North Side churches are among the last to have sessions scheduled.

Calvary Chapel will hold its vacation Bible school session Monday through next Thursday. The theme of the event is “Know God - No Fear.” Classes will be held daily from 7 to 9 p.m.

The session is open to children age 3 through the sixth grade. There is no charge to attend. Parents are asked to register their children by Friday by calling the church at 467-2860.

The church is located at 511 W. Hastings Road.

“SonZone” is the theme of the vacation Bible school at the Spokane First Nazarene Church. Classes will be held daily Monday through Friday next week from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Classes are open to children age 4 through the sixth grade. Advance registration is recommended. The cost is $6 for children age 4 through the fourth grade and $20 for children in grades 5-6. The cost includes a T-shirt.
