DeMecia Casimir has been at her finest against Wellpinit.

Casimir scored a game-high 20 points Wednesday night, leading Northwest Christian to a 56-45 win over Wellpinit in a Panorama League Tournament play-in game.

Casimir has scored 20 or more points in three games this season, all against Wellpinit.

NWC eliminated Wellpinit and has a shot at the Bi-County League’s fourth berth to the Northeast District 7 B Tournament. NWC will play Saturday at Mt. Spokane High vs. today’s winner between Reardan (11-10) and Wilbur-Creston (13-8) at the Bi-County League Tournament.

NWC’s Natasha Nicolai added nine assists and 5-for-8 shooting from the floor, and Crystal Walker and Kelley Strandy had 15 rebounds apiece.
