Panel Will Review Grizzly Bear Plan
The governors of Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming have appointed a 15-member panel to review a management plan for grizzly bears that would come into play when they are taken off the list of federally protected species.
The plan was drafted by the Yellowstone ecosystem subcommittee of the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee.
Members of the review panel are:
Idaho: Jan Brown of Island Park, a member of the Henry’s Fork Watershed Council; Teton County Commissioner Brent Robson of Tetonia; state House Resources and Conservation Chairman Golden Linford of Rexburg; Fish and Game Commissioner Roy Moulton of Driggs, and American Sheep Industry Association President Cindy Siddoway of Terreton.
Montana: Mike Atwood of Livingston; Tom France of Missoula; Sen. Lorents Grosfield of Big Timber; Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commissioner Tim Mulligan of Whitehall, and Randy Newberg of Bozeman.
Wyoming: Charlie Goodrich of Pinedale; Jill Siggins of Cody; Albert Sommers of Pinedale; Steve Thomas of Lander, and Harold Turner of Moose.
