High School Closed After Threat Found

Students were turned away from Skyview High School on Tuesday after a written threat promised violence at the school.

Officials said classes would resume today.

Principal Rick Larson said the message found by a teacher on a school printer Monday included a racial slur. School officials would not elaborate on the nature of the threat or other specifics of the message, which Larson said originated from inside the school.

“The printer is not accessible from outside the building. Twenty of our computers are linked to that printer. There is a potential trail,” Larson said.
