Gu Doctoral Course Changes Its Focus

Gonzaga University’s only doctoral program is changing its name and emphasis.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership degree is now a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies.

The program used to cater primarily to educators and education administrators. Now, it enrolls leaders from business, manufacturing, government and other fields.

It started 20 years ago in the School of Education but will move to the School of Professional Studies next spring.
