Cda Quizzes Job Finalists

From Staff Reports

The City of Coeur d’Alene will interview four candidates starting Wednesday to finally replace Dan Dible as city administrator.

Dible resigned last December after only four months on the job.

He replaced Ken Thompson, who left in January 1999 after eight years in the post.

Pam MacDonald, the city’s human resources director, said city leaders will on Wednesday interview finalists Bill Panos, of Long Beach, Calif., and Jack Hebner of Spokane.

Then on Thursday, the city will interview Mark Shrives of Hamilton, Mont., and Angela Sheffield, of San Diego.

MacDonald said community members and city staff will be able to meet the job candidates at 8 a.m.-8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.-9:30 a.m. both days at City Hall.
