Tell us about your summer fling

The Spokesman-Review

Remember the summer fling with that adorable person you met on the beach years ago?

Most of us, if we’re lucky, have a summer romance in our pasts. They often burn brilliantly and fizzle fast at summer’s end.

A few shine on forever.

We’re looking for vivid, funny or poignant tales of summer flings from summers gone by. We’ll publish a selection of the best ones in the IN Life section of Sunday Spokesman-Review in August. If you have a story to share, we’d like to hear from you.

And if yours is selected for print, we’ll give you a gift certificate for ice cream cones for two from The Scoop on Spokane’s South Hill.

Please include your name, phone number and the city where you live.

If you have a snapshot of the couple, please send it to us by e-mail or regular mail.

If you mail a photograph, please write your name, address and phone number on the back.

Send the story and photos to Jamie Tobias Neely, Features Department, The Spokesman-Review, P.O. Box 2160, Spokane, WA 99210 or by e-mail to jamien@spokesman.com.

Don’t forget to get your entries in no later than Wednesday.
