Oprah Winfrey can start making big anniversary plans. Winfrey has signed with King World Productions to continue her top-rated talk show through the 2010-11 television season – which would be its 25th year in syndication.

“The thought of taking the show to its 25th anniversary is both exhilarating and challenging,” she said.

Just last year, Winfrey, 50, extended her contract by two more years, taking her through the 2007-2008. Previously, she had talked about quitting after the 2005-2006 season.

Her new contract calls for more Oprah each year: Starting with the 2004-05 season, the number of new episodes will increase from 130 to 140. The expanded production will hold through the 2009-10 season, but drop back to 130 episodes for the last year of the contract.

The Chicago-based program, which showcases Winfrey and A-list celebrity guests, continues to be a ratings powerhouse and has ranked first among talk shows for 71 consecutive “sweeps” periods.

OK, put away the Monica suit, Horatio

Fresh from his appearance Tuesday on David Letterman‘s “Late Show,” Bill Clinton will sit down with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” Monday night to promote his new book.

But one show the former president won’t be visiting is “Saturday Night Live.” Clinton has turned down an invitation to be guest host of the NBC sketch-comedy series next season, a spokesman confirmed Friday.

We’ll bet he shows her who’s the boss

Ereka Vetrini, the eighth person fired by Donald Trump during the first season of NBC’s hit reality show “The Apprentice,” has signed on as Tony Danza‘s announcer and sidekick for his new talk show, which will premiere next month.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled about the opportunity to work with one of the most popular television personalities of all time,” Vetrini said. “I’ll be able to learn everything there is to know about television from a man whose career has stood the test of time.”

Another new racket for The Donald

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has been hired, too – to help the U.S. Tennis Association promote the sport.

Trump will appear in print ads in the official U.S. Open program and in national publications in the fall. He also taped a promo that will be shown on video screens during the Grand Slam tournament starting Aug. 30.

The print ad reads: “After a long day of handing out pink slips there is nothing more rewarding than grabbing a racket and heading to the courts. It’s a great way to stay fit, keep sharp and relieve stress.”

She certainly doesn’t want to make it a habit

Former “Moesha” star turned singer Brandy has come clean about her alleged marriage to record producer Robert Smith, the father of her 2-year-old daughter, Sy’rai.

Smith recently revealed that the supposedly secret wedding was a ruse to protect Brandy’s image.

“The truth is that we didn’t have a traditional marriage,” she admits to Us Weekly. “We had an understanding – I dedicated my life to him and he dedicated himself to me. No, we didn’t have a minister officiate, but in our hearts, we lived as a married couple.”

Now engaged to basketball player Quentin Richardson, she adds: “This time, I want so badly for my marriage to work out. If it doesn’t, I don’t ever want to date again. I’ll be a nun, raise my daughter and make albums.”
