The Spokesman-Review

The Aurora Northwest Rotary Club is sponsoring a Bluegrass Festival from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Beacon Hill Events Center, 4848 E. Wellesley Ave.

Performers include The Broken Valley Road Show, Prairie Flyer, South Hill Ramblers and A Wing and a Prayer.

Tickets are $10 for the day, on sale through TicketsWest. Call 325-SEAT or contact Roger Wilson at 328-6487. Admission is free for children 12 and younger.

Concessions will be available along with a beer garden. No outside food or beverages except water will be allowed.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring blankets or low chairs.

Proceeds will help kids who attend Havermale School.

The club focuses on North Side projects. They have provided scholarships for students from Rogers, Shadle, Mead, Mt. Spokane and Havermale high schools, as well as provided foreign exchange opportunities for students, gift and food baskets for the needy at Christmas, and work on building a North Side park.
