Nuns to sing at annual concert

The Singing Nuns of Mount St. Michael are presenting their ninth annual Christmas Evermore concert on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2 and 7:30 p.m. at The Met, 901 W. Sprague Ave.

“Christmas in Our Towne” will feature Chad Mitchell of the Chad Mitchell Trio, Randy Shaw from KREM-2, the Moxie Quartet and a performance by Edward Myers.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors and students, through TicketsWest (325-SEAT, 800-325-SEAT, www.ticketswest.com).

Holiday musical play

The First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd., is presenting “A Time for Christmas,” a musical play based on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” today at 2 and 7 p.m. in the church gymnasium.

The tale will follow ancient Christmas celebrations and a modern-day man who learns lessons from his past and for his future.
