Spending a dollar online can earn you some miles

Reward yourself with frequent-flier miles as you cross off entries on your holiday gift list.

Many of the offers that follow require online registration or click-throughs from the travel vendor’s Web site.

Earn double miles at American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping mall when you purchase with a MasterCard through Dec. 31. In addition, earn bonuses of 2,500 to 10,000 miles for total purchases of $250 to $1,000. Go to www.aadvantageeshopping.com /holiday for details.

Advantage members also can earn 15 miles per dollar spent at SkyMall through Dec. 31 ( www.skymall.com/webapp /skystore?partnerN26).

Delta SkyMiles members earn extra miles when making purchases with retailers such as FTD.com, Harry and David, Hickory Farms, Land’s End and Macys.com through Dec. 31.
