Ocean conservationists offer ‘Fish List’ to choose seafood wisely

From wire reports

Three institutions working on behalf of ocean conservation have a guide to help people make wise choices when eating seafood.

“The Fish List” is described as “the unified voice” of Blue Ocean Institute, Environmental Defense and Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The list tells consumers which seafood choices are better for ocean ecosystems, which are associated with ecological harm to the oceans, and indicates which kinds of seafood have elevated levels of mercury and other substances that are health concerns.
