Pearson, Johnston will join North Idaho volleyball
Juli Pearson and Sarah Johnston headlined seven volleyball signings for North Idaho College’s 2004-05 season.
Pearson, a 6-foot-2 middle hitter, graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School before attending Brigham Young University-Hawaii and BYU in Provo, Utah.
She played volleyball for one year at BYU-Hawaii, helping the team take the Pacific West Conference, regional and Division-II national titles.
Johnston, a 5-8 opposite hitter, went to Priest River High School. She is a three-time Intermountain League offensive player of the year and was named league co-MVP as well as to the all-state and all-North Idaho first teams during her senior campaign.
Joining the pair are Melissa Merchant, a 6-2 middle hitter from Freedom High in Oakley, Calif.; Chanele Larsen, a 6-1 middle from Auburn Riverside in Auburn, Wash.; Collese Dorman, a 6-foot opposite hitter from Fife High in Tacoma; Allie Rawlins, a 6-foot outside hitter from Pleasant Grove High in Pleasant Grove, Utah; and Kelcey Cavan, a 5-10 outside hitter from Skyview High in Billings, Mont.
