Shadow to face Blue Star
After winning their last three games and losing out on first place in the Northwest Division by virtue of a tie-breaker, the Spokane Shadow head into the Premier Development League’s Western Conference playoffs on a hot streak.
The Shadow will be facing a familiar foe in the Western semifinals in Fresno, Calif.
Spokane will take on Southwest Division champion Orange County Blue Star (12-3-3, 39 points) Friday at 5 p.m. The Shadow fell to the Blue Star 2-1 in last year’s first round.
If they win Friday, the Shadow will advance to the Western Conference championship game Saturday at 7:30 p.m. against either the Fresno Fuego or the Cascade Surge.
