Mortgage and Real Estate Field Updates
The National Association of Professional Mortgage Women will provide an industry update for everyone in the mortgage and real estate fields. The date is August 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 Thursday, August 19, at The Commons at Mukogawa.
Presenters include Marc T. Montague, Special Agent, Dept. of HUD, Office of Inspector General, who will speak on Predatory Lending from HUD’s point of view. He has an extensive background in criminal investigations including narcotics smuggling, money laundering, credit card, mail and bank fraud and HUD investigations.
Other presenters will be a local panel comprised of Kimberly McCollim, Customer Liaison from the Spokane HUD Office; Arlene Patton, Field Office Director for the Spokane HUD Office, who will provide updates and an overview of current HUD information; Edward S. Dienes, Housing Assistance Specialist in the Idaho State Office who will cover HUD’s HECM loans (reverse mortgages); Lisa DeBrock, manager of the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, who will speak on lending programs; and Peggy Burrill, Program Coordinator with Spokane Neighborhood Action Program, who will present current SNAPstevep@spoke down payment assistance programs and HUD counseling.
