County slowpitch champions

The Spokane Diesel softball team won the Spokane County slowpitch championship and finished third at the state tournament in August 1965. It had an 11-1 league record. Team members are from left, front row: Fred Hepton, Ernie Schillinger, Jim Simonton and Oris Olson; and, rear, Don Monson, Don McIntosh, Bill Ellis, George Chalich, Joe Trembly, Dean Roffler, Larry McIntosh and Dan Sherwood.
