Rummage sale today to benefit deputy’s son

A rummage sale to benefit the ailing son of a Spokane Sheriff’s Office deputy will be held today.

The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Spokane Valley Precinct, 12710 E. Sprague Ave. Proceeds will help Hayden Stipe, 3, the son of Deputy Steven Stipe and Becky Stipe.

Hayden cannot yet walk due to cerebral palsy. This sale will raise money to help the family get treatment for Hayden that is not available in the United States.
