Concert benefits Africa mission trip
Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 1703 N. Washington St., is hosting a missionary outreach concert on June 19 to benefit an upcoming Africa missionary trip and the youth program’s trip to Mexico this summer.
Khouria Cindy Horton, David Demand, Matthew Gallatin and others will perform the Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano by Claude Bolling and several African tunes.
A free-will offering will be accepted.

Christian Singles
The Christian Singles Fellowship will meet on June 19 at 7 p.m. This month’s topic is “God’s Purpose for the Future,” and the featured speaker will be the Rev. Chuck Baxter.
The group will meet in the Fellowship Hall of North Addison Baptist Church, 6120 N. Addison St.

Vacation Bible school
• Northwood Presbyterian Church, 6721 N. Monroe St., is offering a vacation Bible school starting June 20 with registration at 5 p.m. in the church parking lot.
The registration will include a picnic and lighting of an Olympic torch.
The SonGames 2004 will feature skits, songs, games, crafts and lessons about Paul’s journeys.

• North Addison Baptist Church, 6120 N. Addison St., is holding its vacation Bible school program, the Far-Out Far East Rally – Racing to the Son, on June 28 to July 2.
Children ages 3 through the sixth grade are invited for Bible stories, music, crafts, recreation and snacks from 9 a.m. to noon.
This weeklong event is free.
