Vietnam Moving Wall to visit Idaho

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho — The Moving Wall, a traveling half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., is coming to Idaho.

The raising of American and POW/MIA flags to half staff and “A missing man formation” flyover by members of the 366th Fighter Wing will open ceremonies Wednesday in Carl Miller Park. The memorial will remain open until June 21.

Memorial “rubbing” sheets are available, and visitors may ask for volunteer assistance when looking for a specific name.

It will be the only time this year the memorial will stop in Idaho.
