Neely named Flight Surgeon of the Year

Maj. Bruce Neely of the 446th Aerospace Medicine Squadron has been named the 2003 Air Force Reserve Command Flight Surgeon of the Year. Neely is the son of Jerry and Vicki Neely of Spokane and is a 1984 graduate of Lewis and Clark High School.

Washington Army Guard Maj. Brian P Wilkins has been named the National Guard’s Employee of the Year for Eastern Washington. Wilkins is now deployed in Iraq with the 81st Armored Brigade. He resides at Fairchild Air Force Base with his wife, Ronda and sons Ethan and Jared.

Navy Seaman Mary C. Callaghan has been promoted to the rank of seaman third class. She is the daughter of Jim and Marie Callaghan of Spokane and is a 1999 graduate of North Central High School.

Air Force Airman Jason W. Floyd has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Floyd is the son of Dale and Trudy Floyd of Spokane and is a 2002 graduate of Rogers High School.

Air Force Airman Jessica L. Reynolds has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Reynolds is the daughter of Laura Berens of Soap Lake, Wash., and Donald Reynolds of Ephrata, Wash.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Joel-ed Fell has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Fell is a 2002 graduate of Shadle Park High School.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Daniel J. Millay has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Millay is the son of Gloria Biddle of Spokane and is a 2003 graduate of Mount Spokane High School.

Seaman Apprentice Scott T. Ring has graduated from recruit training at Great Lakes, Mich. He is the son of Thomas and Terri Ring of Spokane Valley and is a 2000 graduate of Central Valley High School.

Army Pfc. Anthony J. Valentine has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Valentine is the son of James and Rita Valentine of Spokane and is a 1998 graduate of Gonzaga Preparatory School.

Army Pvt. Benjamin D. Lewis has graduated from the imagery analyst advanced individual training course at Fort Hauchuca, Sierra Vista, Ariz. Lewis is the son of Dale and Denice Lewis of Spokane and is a 2003 graduate of Rogers High School.

Army National Guard Pfc. Erika J. Steen has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Steen is the daughter of Daniel and Alicia Shepard of Cheney.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Cassie C. Clemons has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Clemons is the daughter of Max and Therresa Clemons of Spokane and is a 2001 graduate of North Central High School.

Army Pvt. Travis L. La Chance has graduated from the air traffic control systems and subsystems equipment repairer course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. La Chance is the son of Louis and Deborah La Chance of Medical Lake and is a 2002 graduate of Cheney High School.

Army Spec. Mary A. Hueffmeier has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Hueffmeier is the daughter of Herbert Murphy of Colville.

Army Pvt. Brent T. Bjorenberg has graduated from one station unit training at Fort Knox, Ky. Bjorenberg is the son of Margie Bjorenberg of Spokane and Tom Bjorenberg of Bellingham and is a 2000 graduate of East Valley High School.

Army Reserve Pvt. Matthew J. Brophy has graduated from the power-generation equipment repairer advanced individual training course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Md. Brophy is the son of Gloria Brophy of Spokane and is a 1995 graduate of Rogers High School.

Army Pvt. Benjamin R. Muhs has graduated from basic training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Muhs is the son of Anne Thompson of Ford, Wash.
