Sparks rally to knock off champion Shock
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Nikki Teasley scored 12 of her 15 points after halftime to lead the Los Angeles Sparks to a 63-60 comeback win over the Detroit Shock on Saturday in a rematch of last year’s WNBA finals.
The Shock knocked off the two-time defending champion Sparks last September for the league title, a year after almost moving or folding.
The Sparks blew a 13-point lead with 12-plus minutes, but rallied to win, finishing it after star Lisa Leslie fouled out with 2:35 left.
