I’m in the process of transcribing a phone interview that I had with recently with Orson Scott Card . And while doing preparation for our talk, I came across a couple of quote sites that feature witty remarks by the science fiction author. Given the current presidential campaign, a couple have particular meaning.

Such as, “If pigs could vote, the man with the slop bucket would be elected swineherd every time, no matter how much slaughtering he did on the side.” Or “It’s the middle class that feels the luxury of being able to have causes.” Or “Unemployment is capitalism ‘s way of getting you to plant a garden.”
