Tobacco Free during Pregnancy – Sponsored by the Community Health Education and Resources office and the March of dimes, this weekly course is for pregnant women who are smokers. The course includes dinner and will pay participants $10 at the end of each class. The class meets on Thursdays starting this week and will run through Nov. 11. Registration is required. Diabetes Screenings – Some of the risk factors of diabetes include age, family history, being overweight or leading a sedentary lifestyle. Baby-sitting Basics – This program is for 10- to 15-year-olds who baby-sit.
