National College Fair will be Nov. 8

Representatives from colleges and universities in 31 states, as well as several international colleges, will be in Spokane Nov. 8 for a National College Fair.

High school students throughout the Spokane area are invited to attend the event, sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling. The fair will be held at the Spokane Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

Workshops will be held every half hour from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 6 to 9 p.m. Topics include how to apply to various colleges, college information on the Web, financial aid, and ROTC military academies. Students can also speak one-on-one with admission representatives during the fair.

The event is free.
