Level III sex offender moves downtown

A man convicted of first-degree child molestation has moved to downtown Spokane, Spokane police reported.

Michael Raymond Pardee, 43, was convicted in 2002 for possession of child pornography, said police spokesman Dick Cottam. Ten years earlier, he was convicted in Kitsap County of molesting a 6-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl. Pardee is not wanted by police. He is a Level III offender, the group most likely to commit more sex crimes.

Pardee is 5 feet 11 and 205 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is not allowed to be around minors or use computers, Cottam said.
