Secret Witness is offering a cash reward for information that helps solve a Spokane County homicide.

Catherine Louise Avis, also known as Catherine Fuller, was last seen alive on the evening of May 28 near Second Avenue and Cedar Street, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said. Her body was discovered two months later in a field in the 8800 block of E. Elder Road.

An autopsy determined she was a homicide victim.

Avis was 40, white, about 5-foot-2 and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She previously had been a prostitute in downtown Spokane, police said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Secret Witness at (509) 327-5111. Callers do not have to give their names to be eligible for the reward.
