Several area residents complete military training

The following area residents have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio:

Air Force Airman Mikel Davis, is a 2003 graduate of Medical Lake High School and the son of Mark Davis of Medical Lake.

Air Force Airman Jeremy Parks is the son of Anglia McNeece of Otis Orchards and is a 2001 graduate of Medical Lake High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Charles Nunnelly is a 1995 graduate of Newport (Wash.) High School and graduated from Spokane Community College in 2003.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Tanea Bayless is the daughter of Jana Meier of Liberty Lake and Robert Bayless of Wenatchee and is a 2000 graduate of North Central High School.

Air Force Airman Brad Tubbs, son of Shannon Woodiwiss of Ephrata, Wash., is a 2003 graduate of Ephrata High School.

Air Force Airman Brandon Strait is a 2003 graduate of Moses Lake High School and is the son of Bruce Strait, Moses Lake.

Army Pvt. David Noble earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Susan Noble of Valley, Wash., and is a 2003 graduate of Jenkins High School, Chewelah, Wash.

Army Pfc. Jesse Fairbanks is a 2004 graduate of Freeman High School, and is the son of Warren Fairbanks of Hillsboro, Ore.

Army Pfc. Daniel Crume is the son of Linda and Leonard Crume, Spokane and is a 2003 graduate of Ferris High School.

Army Pvt. Ryan Goettel is a 2003 graduate of Freeman High School, and is the son of Lynn Rountree, Valleyford.

Army Pvt. Nicolas Groves is a 2003 graduate of West Valley High School and the son of Theresa Groves of Newman Lake.

Army Pvt. Brandon Franetich is the son of Marla Armstrong, Spokane. He is a 2003 graduate of Ferris High School.

Army Pvt. Jeffrey Haskell is the son of Bonni and Dave Haskell, Chewelah, Wash.

•Army Warrant Office 1 Giovanni Faraca has recently graduated from Army Warrant Officer Helicopter Flight School at Fort Rucker, Daleville, Ala. He is a 2000 graduate of Central Valley High School and is the son of Rosemarie and Brian Hulvey of Spokane Valley.

•Army Pvt. Nicholas Smith has recently gradated from basic combat training at Fort Knox, Ky. He is a 2003 graduate of University High School and the son of Scott Smith of Veradale.

•Army Pvt. Andrew Lawson has recently graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Bill and Carol Lawson, Spokane, and a 2003 graduate of Central Valley High School.
