If you’re getting weary of last year’s apple crop… you’re in luck. This year’s apples are beginning to show up at area farmers’ markets. You’ll also find them ready to pick and at Green Bluff farms.

Pears and plums are available and a few huckleberries, peaches, nectarines and apricots are still hanging around. Look for a huge selection of tomatoes and peppers coming in to most markets. And there’s more: summer squash, eggplant, peppers, green beans, sweet corn, cabbage, kale, potatoes, garlic, onions, carrots, tomatillos, leeks, herbs, chard, lettuces, spinach, pumpkins and squash.
