Recipe is man’s best friend when dog isn’t
In the early 1990s, a group of unheralded chemists gave the world one of the greatest gifts since penicillin: A cheap, effective treatment for a skunk-sprayed dog.
Although this recipe has been published in The Spokesman-Review every year since it was concocted, some people neglect to clip and save the formula, apparently thinking the disaster will never strike members of their kennel.
Here it is again, just in case.
Hunters who have had to drive long distances with a skunk-sprayed dog — or ANY distance, for that matter — will understand the potential benefits of carrying these ingredients in their vehicles at all times.
