The Bs
Northeast B-11: Reardan, Lind-Ritzville and Liberty sit atop the league as the last three remaining unbeaten football teams. For Liberty, it’s the first 3-0 squad since the early 1990s. Reardan travels to 1-2 Davenport in a rematch of last year’s state semifinal, won by Reardan 27-16. Northeast B-8: The league’s football game of the season is Friday, when No. 4 Columbia (2-1) plays at No. 3 Sprague-Harrington (3-0). Running back Josh Adams leads the S-H attack with 12 touchdowns in three games, while Columbia quarterback Nick Kegel sparks the Lions offense. Southeast B-11: Final non-league football games are Friday for all teams … Asotin (3-0) plays at Lake Roosevelt. DeSales (3-1), which beat Colfax 28-0 last week, is off to a strong start … Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia (0-2) travels to Kellogg, Idaho. Southeast B-8: LaCrosse-Washtucna (3-0) and Colton/Pullman Christian (4-0) remain undefeated in football. Both teams have strong chances of winning Friday as L-W hosts Prescott (1-3) and Colton/Pullman Christian travels to Garfield-Palouse (1-2). Bi-County: Sprague-Harrington’s volleyball team sits on top of the league at 3-0.. Whitman County: As the league spreads out in volleyball, tonight’s matchup of Tekoa-Oakesdale (5-1) and Garfield-Palouse (5-0) should be interesting. But records may be deceiving. The Nighthawks lost to LaCrosse-Washtucna (4-2), a team that Gar-Pal beat in three. Northeast 1A/B boys soccer: Valley Christian (0-5) hosts Kettle Falls (0-2) today for its first league match. Northwest Christian (6-1-0) has allowed one goal in seven games. VC hosts NWC on Saturday.
