Master Gardeners to host Open House April 16

The Spokane Association of REALTORS®

WSU/Spokane County Master Gardeners are celebrating the coming of spring with their annual Spring Open House from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, April 16 at the County Extension Education Center, 222 N. Havana St. The event is free and open to the public.

Residents of the Inland Northwest are cordially invited to enjoy this event. Master Gardener Volunteers will staff the Plant Clinic and Resource Center to help with plant problems and garden questions. Attendees can browse through the many books and displays in the Resource Center. Also, publications will be available for purchase.

Downstairs, there will be numerous gardening demonstrations and displays on topics such as Organic Gardening, Plant Propagation, Newest and Best Drought-Tolerant Plants, Garden Photography, and more. There is a special activities room for children.
