Tell us about beautiful or unusual house

The Spokesman-Review

We are getting ready to launch a new home and garden section in May, and as part of that exciting process we’ll be running some new weekly features, among them “A Beautiful Home.”

If you know of a beautiful or unusual home, perhaps it’s built in an unusual style or perhaps it’s always caught your eye for some other reason during your morning commute, please let us know. We’re looking for unusual dwellings, creative colors or unusual landscaping. The home can be new or old, big or small, and for now we’re mostly interested in the exterior.

We’ll find the owner, get a little history about the house and put it in the paper.

Yes, you may nominate your own home.

Simply send us the complete address or street coordinates of the house, via e-mail to, or by regular mail to The Spokesman-Review, Home, Features Department, P.O. Box 2160, Spokane, WA 99210.

Mark the envelope “A Beautiful Home.”

We’ll pick a house every week and feature it in our new Home section.
