Shop Thursday, help fight breast cancer

The Spokesman-Review

Help Rosauers fight breast cancer by grocery shopping on Thursday.

Rosauers Supermarkets will donate 5 percent of all sales throughout the day to the local American Cancer Society to be used for research and patient services. The money raised also will support programs such as “Reach to Recovery,” one-on-one support for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients, and “I Can Cope,” a series of classes by medical professionals and others about cancer diagnosis and treatment options.

Over the years, Rosauers has donated more than half a million dollars to the Washington Chapter of the American Cancer Society to help increase cancer awareness, according to a news release.

Volunteers and media celebrities will be at all Spokane and Deer Park area stores for the fund-raiser.
