Police chief to talk to Riverside council

The Riverside Neighborhood Council will host an open forum on public safety from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Room 1-A of the Downtown Library, 906 W. Main Ave.

Guest speakers include Police Chief Roger Bragdon, Deputy Chief Jim Nicks, other members of the Spokane Police Department, representatives from the Department of Corrections, and volunteers from COPS Downtown.

“ The Latah/Hangman Valley Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. next Thursday in the second-floor meeting room at Tidyman’s at Highway 195 and the Cheney-Spokane Road.

“ The Manito/Cannon Hill Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m., next Thursday at Wilson Elementary School, 911 W. 25th Ave.
