Man flees with cash in Valley bank robbery

From staff reports

A man robbed a Spokane Valley bank Tuesday afternoon and got away with cash, Valley police reported.

The robber entered US Bank, 9208 E. Sprague Ave., about 2:40 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash, police spokesman Cpl. Dave Reagan said in a press release. The man, who did not display a weapon, fled on foot.

He was described as white, in his 50s and about 6 feet tall, with a medium build, short gray hair and no facial hair.

He wore sunglasses, a navy blue ball cap and navy blue jacket over a white shirt.

Police ask anyone with information to call 242-8477, or 911 if the tipster knows the location of the robber.
