Brandon Holibaugh scored 24 points as Kettle Falls defeated host Selkirk 73-60 in a non-league game Friday night at Ione.

Ryan Douse added 14 for the Bulldogs (1-0), who outrebounded the Rangers 40-22. Derek MacArthur led Selkirk (0-1) with 17 points.

In other non-league action, Bubba Bartlett scored 14 points to lead Lakeland to a 56-43 victory over visiting Colville at Rathdrum. Phillip Viebrock added 11 points for the Hawks (3-0), who won despite getting just five points from scoring leader Ryan Gallia. Tyson Lau scored 11 points to lead the Indians (0-1). … Micah Smith had 22 points and six assists as Priest River defeated visiting Chewelah 61-54. Cody Smith scored 13 and Zach Clow added nine rebounds for the Spartans (1-0), while Clayton Becker led the Cougars with 20 points (0-1). … Myles Keogh tied the game with a 3-pointer to end regulation and Tanner Williams hit a 3-pointer in overtime to give Cusick a 43-42 victory over host Newport. Williams scored 20 points to lead the Panthers (1-0), while Dave McFall‘s 24 led the Grizzlies (0-1). … Brenn Pollock scored 19 points to lead Potlatch to a 61-49 victory over Garfield-Palouse at Palouse. Pollock scored 13 of his points in the second quarter and pulled down six rebounds for the Loggers, who shot 52 percent from the field. Brian Boyd hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points to lead the Vikings (0-1). … Henry Butler had 26 points and five rebounds as St. George’s defeated host Kittitas 63-56. Jeffery Livingston added 19 points, nine rebounds and five steals for the Dragons (1-0). … David Johnson scored 22 points as Odessa routed visiting Soap Lake 50-27. Adrian Moffet added 10 points for the Tigers (1-0), who outscored Soap Lake 32-11 in the second half. … T.J. Flett scored 16 points and Chazz Flett added 15 points and six steals as Wellpinit (1-0) defeated host Wilbur-Creston 58-48 at Wilbur. Shayne Lewis had 10 points and 17 rebounds for W-C (0-1). … Jesse Butcher had 26 points and 18 rebounds as St. John-Endicott routed visiting Dayton 73-37 at St. John. Justin Taylor scored 13 in 1½ quarters because of foul trouble, Raymond Fitzgerald added 11 and Brent Leifer 10 for the Eagles, who led the Bulldogs 41-13 at halftime.

Cody Groth had 25 points and eight assists as Curlew routed Inchelium 75-50 in a Northport Tip-Off first-round matchup. Tyler Carlson added 19 points and Austin Mannick grabbed nine offensive rebounds for the Cougars (1-0). Lance Ragan scored 20 points to lead the Hornets (0-1). … Ben Czapla scored 15 fourth-quarter points to lead St. Michael’s to a 66-60 victory over host Northport. Czapla finished with 30 points and Nick Johnson scored 19 points and hit five 3-pointers for the Warriors (1-1), who outscored the Mustangs 28-12 in the fourth quarter and will face Curlew in tonight’s championship game at 7:30. Tucker Guglielmino led Northport (0-1) with 18 points.

“The game between Liberty and Rosalia was postponed until Jan. 24 because of inclement weather. … Republic and Tonasket will face off Dec. 22 after weather forced the game’s postponement.

“Jeremiah Big Spring scored 19 points and Jacob Conboy added 14 as Kellogg defeated host Mullan 62-50 in the first round of the Mullan Tournament. Jesse James had 24 points, 11 rebounds and five steals for the Tigers (1-1), who cut a 20-point fourth-quarter deficit to five before the Wildcats (2-1) finished them off. … Freshman Nick Arthun scored 24 points and Justin Keener added 17 as Wallace defeated Kootenai (0-2) 60-48 in the other first-round game. The Miners (1-0) will face Kellogg in tonight’s championship game at 8.
