Man’s body found after fire in home

The remains of a 78-year-old Sagle, Idaho, man were found Friday afternoon by Bonner County officials investigating a fire that broke out in the man’s home Thursday evening.

The man, Douglas McLean, owned the home at 915 Glengary Bay Road. Neighbors reported the fire just before 8 p.m. Thursday.

The cause of death is unknown, officials said in a press release.

The investigation is ongoing.
