Eagles rally, down Cardinal 77-69
Aja Parham had all 15 of her points and all seven of her rebounds in the second half as No. 24 Boston College rallied to defeat No. 14 Stanford 77-69 Wednesday in Boston.
Brooke Queenan, who had 16 points in the first half, was 7 for 8 from the foul line in the final 7:54 to finish with 23 points. With BC leading by three points, Queenan made two free throws with 55 seconds left and Parham iced the game with two more foul shots with 34 seconds to go.
Parham was 0 for 3 with two assists and two turnovers in the first half, when the Eagles fell behind by as many as 16 points. But she scored five straight points in a 50-second span to give BC (11-2) the lead for good with 5:20 remaining. Stanford is 6-4.
