Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, who have been mum on their reported marriage, will perform together for the first time at the Grammy Awards later this month. The Recording Academy didn’t announce the song the couple would perform, but there was speculation that it might be from Lopez’s upcoming album, “Rebirth.”

Lopez and Anthony have sung together before – on “No Me Amas” from her 1999 album, “On the 6,” and on “Escapemonos” from Anthony’s “Amar Sin Mentiras.”

They reportedly were married in Beverly Hills, Calif., last June.

Anthony is nominated for best Latin pop album for “Amar Sin Mentiras” and best salsa/merengue album for “Valio La Pena.”

The Feb. 13 awards show also will feature a tsunami relief fund-raising musical performance of John Lennon and Paul McCartney‘s “Across the Universe,” featuring Bono, Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, Velvet Revolver, Tim McGraw, Brian Wilson and others.

Usher rides high on Soul Train

Usher has collected a leading five nominations for the annual Soul Train Music Awards.

The R&B sensation received bids for best male R&B-soul album for “Confessions,” and best male R&B-soul single for “Confessions Part II.” “My Boo,” his duet with Alicia Keys, also earned them a nomination.

His work with rappers Ludacris & Lil Jon also got him nominations for best R&B-soul or rap music video and best R&B-soul or rap dance cut for the song “Yeah!”

Usher swept the American Music Awards with four honors and has eight nominations for the Grammys.

Zeta-Jones, Robbins to taste pudding

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Tim Robbins will be this year’s recipients of the annual Hasty Pudding awards, given by a student drama group at Harvard University.

The awards are given to performers who have made a “lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment” by Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the nation’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe.

Zeta-Jones will lead a parade through the streets of Harvard Square next Thursday with Harvard students dressed in drag. Robbins will appear Feb. 17 at the opening night performance of “Terms of Frontierment.”

Newsman news

CBS has tapped veteran Washington newsman Bob Schieffer as the temporary replacement for Dan Rather, who will leave “CBS Evening News” next month. The network still is working on plans for a permanent replacement.

Meanwhile, MSNBC announced it has hired bow-tied conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, formerly of CNN, to host a prime-time show starting this spring.

At least they stayed away from Boo-Boo

New York Yankees legend Yogi Berra has filed a $10 million lawsuit against TBS, claiming the cable network sullied his name by using it in a racy advertisement for its “Sex and the City” reruns.

The ad gave three possible definitions for “yogasm”: (a) a type of yo-yo trick, (b) sex with Yogi Berra and (c) what Samantha has with a guy from yoga class.

Berra’s suit says the ad “engenders a moral taint that has damaged his otherwise spotless reputation.”
