Mike Bibby scored 15 of his career-high 40 points in the fourth quarter, and Matt Barnes made the go-ahead free throw and two big defensive plays to cap the Sacramento Kings’ incredible rally for a 116-115 victory over the New York Knicks on Friday night at Sacramento, Calif.

Brad Miller had 35 points as the Kings came back from an 11-point deficit in the final 3 1/2 minutes, scoring nine points in the final 48 seconds to shock the Knicks despite the absence of three injured starters. Barnes scored 16 points, one shy of his career high, and also stole the ball from Penny Hardaway shortly before time expired.

The Kings played without starters Chris Webber, Peja Stojakovic and Cuttino Mobley — who average nearly 60 combined points — for the second straight game. Webber sat out for the fifth time in seven games, while Stojakovic missed his sixth straight game and Mobley his second, both with back spasms.

Tim Thomas had 23 points in his first game back from a nine-game injury absence for the Knicks, who had one of their most disheartening losses in a season full of them. Nazr Mohammed added 16 points and 10 rebounds for New York.

Pacers 95, Mavericks 94: Making only his fifth start this season, Anthony Johnson was perfect from the field, scored a season-high 21 points and hit two free throws in the closing seconds to clinch Indiana’s victory over Dallas at Indianapolis. The two free throws by Johnson with 4.6 seconds left gave Indiana a 95-92 lead, and he intentionally fouled Dirk Nowitzki to avoid the possibility of a tying 3-pointer. Nowitzki made the first free throw, then accidentally banked the second one in after trying to miss in hopes of a rebound.

Raptors 103, Wizards 100: At Toronto, the Raptors matched their biggest comeback in franchise history. Jalen Rose had 26 points, and Rafer Alston scored all 16 of his points in the second half in Toronto’s victory over the Wizards. Toronto trailed by 22 points in the third quarter before rallying, after Gilbert Arenas was ejected in the third. The guard received a technical before throwing a bounce pass that hit official Bill Kennedy in the leg. Kennedy tossed Arenas with 4:39 left in the period.

Bucks 92, Clippers 90: At Milwaukee, Michael Redd scored 32 points, including the go-ahead basket with 15 seconds left, to lift the Bucks over Los Angeles. It was the second straight game the Bucks won after letting leads slip away in the final quarter.

Rockets 119, Timberwolves 113 (OT): Tracy McGrady had 40 points, 13 rebounds and a clutch 3-pointer in overtime to lead Houston to an overtime victory over Minnesota. Yao Ming added 23 points and 14 rebounds. Sam Cassell had 24 points and 11 assists for Minnesota.

Warriors 90, Hornets 82: At Oakland, Calif., Jason Richardson had 25 points, five rebounds and three assists, leading Golden State over Houston. Former Gonzaga guard Dan Dickau scored 16 points for the Hornets.

Celtics 112, Magic 100: Raef LaFrentz scored seven of his 19 points in a 20-4 fourth-quarter run, and Delonte West and Walter McCarty hit key 3-pointers in reserve roles to help the Celtics beat Orlando at Boston.

Trail Blazers 101, Bobcats 89: At Portland, Damon Stoudamire and rookie Sebastian Telfair each scored 23 points to lead the Trail Blazers to victory over expansion Charlotte.

76ers 103, Hawks 85: At Philidelphia, Allen Iverson had 22 points and 12 assists, and Kyle Korver hit 5 of 8 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead Philadelphia to a win over Atlanta.
