Andy Wellsandt buried a 5-foot jumper at the buzzer Tuesday as Lind-Ritzville topped Almira/Coulee-Hartline 58-56 to wrap up the Bi-County League boys basketball championship at Lind.

ACH’s Justin Carstensen sank a pair of free throws with 13 seconds left to knot the game at 56. ACH (11-9, 10-8) connected on six 3-pointers to recover from a 35-21 halftime deficit. ACH’s Kyle Higginbotham scored nine of his 14 points in the third quarter and Matt Stoke scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half.

Cameron Stevenson poured in 25 points to lead the Broncos (19-1, 17-1), who open the playoffs Saturday at home against Reardan.

Wilbur-Creston 59, Davenport 48: At Creston, the host Wildcats (8-12, 8-10) pulled away late to defeat the Gorillas (2-18, 1-17). Patrick Johnson put up 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead W-C. Marty Villa pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Davenport. … Northwest Christian 63, Liberty 43: Karl Richardson scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to spark the Crusaders (19-2, 16-2) past the visiting Lancers (11-9, 11-7). NWC wrapped up second place. Andy Hodgson scored 12 points to lead the Lancers. NWC opens the league tournament at home against Odessa. … Odessa 63, Reardan 45: Drake Costlow scored 18 points to lead the Tigers past the visiting Indians (6-14, 5-13). Odessa (8-12, 8-10) finished tied with W-C for sixth place, but will be the No. 7 seed in the playoffs on tiebreaking criteria. … Valley Christian 68, Sprague-Harrington 48: At Harrington, the visiting Panthers (12-8, 11-7) rolled by outscoring the Falcons (4-16, 3-15) by 14 points in the first half. Josh Pope posted 19 points, eight in the second quarter, to lead VC, which finished tied with Liberty for third place and opens the playoffs at home Saturday.

Hein lifts Pullman

Ben Hein pumped in 17 points to lead Pullman (12-5, 7-2) to a 50-36 victory over Lakeside at Nine Mile Falls. Brian Pan scored six of his 11 points in the fourth quarter to help the Greyhounds close out the victory. Lakeside (8-9, 4-5) was held to 21 percent shooting from the field. … Riverside 41, Chewelah 37: Buddy Wood was 6 for 6 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to lead the Rams over the host Cougars (10-8, 5-5). Adam Anderson paced Riverside (11-6, 6-3) with 13 points.

Oroville stops Raiders

Oroville (14-5, 7-2) used a 23-1 run in the first quarter to turn away visiting Lake Roosevelt 74-58. The Raiders (13-6, 5-4) outscored Oroville 39-30 in the second half.
