Put your movie prowess to the test

The Spokesman-Review

Quick: What film won last year’s Oscar for Best Picture?

Better yet, who will win this year?

If you think you know the answer to that second question, you may want to enter The Spokesman-Review’s annual Oscar Contest. Look for the ballots that run in Sunday’s IN Life section, or go online to and fill one out.

It’s free. And as long as you meet the Feb. 22 entry deadline – and as long as you make enough correct guesses – you could win $100 in movie passes (or, if you come in second or third, $75 or $50, respectively).

As for the question that we led off with, the answer, of course, is “Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.”
